Linda Morse L.Ac. Dipl. of OM, Ph.D (TM) is an acupuncturist/herbalist in the state of Maine. She is practicing in York and services the southern Maine regions of York, Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunk, Berwicks, Kittery and the Portsmouth, NH area. Linda Morse received her Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture at the top-ranked Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, California. After receiving her master’s degree and she went on the pursue her Ph.D. in Traditional Medicine at American Liberty University. She graduated summa cum laude from both schools.
Linda Morse has studied with world-renowned acupuncturists and herbalists over the years. In addition, she is a third-degree Reiki master and has also been a NAET allergy elimination specialist for many years. For the past forty-five years, she has been involved with organic foods, organic herbs and environmentally conscious life choices for health. Using a host of traditional Chinese treatments as well as her other treatment modalities gives her the cutting edge to help you realize your full potential of health in your mind, body and spirit! Her warm and caring approach is holistic and individualized to your personal needs. Linda specialties include facial acupuncture, stress related conditions, anxiety, pediatric illnesses, and allergy elimination.
She is Board Certified (NCCAOM) and a Licensed acupuncturist in the States of California, Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. In addition to her acupuncture practice, she teaches students all over the country to prepare for their college exams and California and/or National board licensing exams. Many years of teaching various Chinese medicine classes at Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California and Samra University in Los Angeles have helped make her the teacher she is today. She is the author of the “Examination Workbook for Oriental Medicine” which has gained national recognition.
Born and raised in the greater Boston area of Massachusetts, her undergraduate studies were in music at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and over the years, she has instructed many students on piano. Dr. Morse has also mentored professional musicians with specific techniques for overcoming their performance anxiety. This work was instrumental in the promotion of her teaching skills so that today she is a noted lecturer and beloved teacher.
Her interest in acupuncture stemmed from her early interest in herbs during the 1970’s. In the years to follow, she and her husband, owned and operated an organic farm with a national distribution of herbal vinegars and tinctures. Together, they lectured extensively on the uses and benefits of medicinal herbs, conducted classes on growing organic vegetables, herbs and flowers, and on sustainable agriculture. Her extensive work and experience with herbs and foods in this setting, set up a natural progression for her to enter the field of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
